Kingdom Foundation Teaching 2 - Keys to Salvation

Man sinned and is separated from God
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

To the first man and woman, God gave a simple command that God warned, if broken, would cause them to die and so God gave man the ability to choose. Man was tempted and curious, and eventually violated the command.

The consequence of man's sin is death
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

This is the death God spoke of in the garden that was the consequence man's disobedience. God explained that man would not be allowed to live forever in this new condition.

God gave His Son to redeem man, restore him to his position, and reconnect him to his purpose
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he powerto become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

The process by which man is reconnected is simple
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Romans 10:9,10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
